Roofers in Carrigaline

Roof repairs in Carrigaline

Carrigaline is estate housing almost end to end, most of it concrete tile roofs from the eighties and nineties now reaching the age where ridges need re-bedding and the odd tile lets go in a gale. Exposure from the harbour side does not help — we see more storm work here than in the city.

We are a family-run crew based in Cork city, so a call-out to Carrigaline is a short run rather than a special trip. That is the difference between a roof made watertight this week and a bucket on the landing until someone can fit you in.

What we do in Carrigaline

• Roof repairs — Leaks, slipped slates, ridge and valley work, storm damage — traced properly and fixed to last.
• Gutter repair — Broken or clogged gutters lead to water damage. We keep the water flowing away from the building.
• Chimney repair — Repointing, rebuilds, lead flashing and capping — the most common source of ceiling damp, sorted.
• Fascia & soffit — Rotten timber at the eaves replaced in maintenance-free uPVC, with the gutter rehung properly.
• Flat roof repair — Felt, fibreglass and EPDM rubber — ponding, splits and blisters repaired or the roof replaced.
