Terms & Conditions

These are the terms we work to. They are written plainly on purpose.

Quotes

Inspections and quotes are free. A written quote is fixed for 30 days and covers the work described in it. If something is found that could not be seen before the work started — rotten rafter ends under a covering, for example — we will stop, tell you what it means for the price, and only continue when you say so.

Access and safety

We need safe access to the property and to the roof. Where scaffolding or a tower is required, it is included in the quote unless stated otherwise. Please keep children and pets away from the working area while we are on site.

Payment

For most repairs, payment is due on completion. On larger jobs a deposit for materials may be agreed in advance, with the balance due on completion. Payment methods and any staged terms are set out on your quote.

Guarantees

Our workmanship is guaranteed in writing, and manufacturers' warranties on materials are passed on to you. Guarantees cover the work we carried out; they do not cover storm damage, other trades' work, or parts of the roof we did not touch and advised you about.

Cancellation

You can cancel any booked work up to 48 hours before the start date at no cost. Where materials have been ordered specifically for your job, we may ask you to cover them.
